Kastina Communications is one of Israel's leading production
companies.
Since its establishment in 2005, the company has produced over
300 documentary films and television programs, for all Israeli
broadcasters.
In scripted, Kastina produced the first season of "Fauda" (yes) in co-
production with "Tender Productions"; two seasons of "The Chef"
(yes); "Bloody Murray" (yes), which won the best comedy award at
the Series Mania 2022 television festival in France; and "Chanshi"
(HOT), which became the first Israeli drama series to be accepted to
the Sundance Film Festival.
As of the end of 2024, the second season of "Bloody Murray" is
being filmed, and the third season of "The Chef" is being written.
Additional series and a feature film are in development.
In the documentary field, Kastina is the production company with
the largest catalog of projects in Israel. It is also the country's
leading creator of cinematic content related to October 7. Among
our 15 different documentary projects about the day that changed
Israel forever is "Screams before Silence", a documentary led by
former Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg.
Since its release in April 2024, "Screams before Silence" has become
one of the most important documents about October 7. The film was
translated into many languages, screened at the White House,
Congress and various parliaments and reached tens of millions of
exposures worldwide.
In addition, Kastina produced "#Nova", about the massacre at the
music festival, which became the most watched documentary in the
history of the Israeli broadcaster yes and "The Day That Doesn't
End", a five-episode series for Kan 11, which describes what
happened minute by minute on October 7.
In September 2023, the series "The One", led by Sima Kadmon,
about the Air Force in the Yom Kippur War, was aired on Kan 11. It
became the most watched documentary series since the
establishment of the Public Broadcasting Corporation and won all 6
documentary awards at the Israeli television awards, and the Public
Broadcasting Corporation award.
Kastina produces 4 ongoing programs: "Culture Agent", hosted by Kobi Meidan, two time winner at the
Israeli television awards (Kan 11), "Exposure" and "To Catch a Con", hosted by Haim Etgar (Keshet
12)
and the nightly news show "Avri and Cherki" (Keshet 12).
